Does press from niche outlets help with AI citations?

I recently got press coverage from some niche outlets, but I'm not sure if this will help with AI citation rates. Is it worth the effort, or do bigger outlets matter more?

Niche outlets can be beneficial, especially if they have a dedicated audience in your field. AI tools often recognize authoritative voices, even in smaller circles.
